Boxing is a great way to improve fitness whilst reducing stress levels. You don’t have to spar and be hit in the face. Using a set of pads and gloves you could train with a friend or partner. If you have the space you could purchase a free-standing punchbag or wall mounted punchbag to put in the spare room or garage so you can train whenever you want! Try using a few pieces of small equipment to perform a circuit of exercises to train your whole body and get fighting fit!
It is recommended that you use hand wraps to support the wrist under your boxing gloves. Make sure you get instruction from a qualified professional on how to punch and hold pads correctly as incorrect technique could lead to injury.
